A morning devoted to discovering Alba as we explore the towers and historical buildings and linger between the stalls of the colourful weekly market (Saturday) and visit the F. Eusebio civic museum.
Tour of Alta Langa: Cortemilia, capital of the Tonda and Gentile Hazelnut and a visit to the factory that produces the exquisite sweets based on the hazelnuts that grow so prolifically here. During the tour we shall also visit Bergolo, a village with distinctive stone buildings.
Alternatively, you can visit Acqui Terme with a trip to the charming old town centre and enjoy an afternoon of relaxation at the Spa or if you prefer, shopping in the town centre. The tour continues through the charming old towns of Mombaldone and Roccaverano with the chance to visit a small factory producing the local delicacy “Tuma”.
